President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has been briefed on the most important development needs of Vashafaru island of Haa Alif atoll.

This was done during a meeting the president held with the island council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) on Sunday.

The meeting saw members expressing gratitude to the Muizzu administration, for its efforts to maintain a close bond with the people.

Further, councilors assured that the island community would extend full cooperation to the government.

The island’s WDC members expressed appreciation to the president, for working closely with the people.

They also expressed confidence that the administration would deliver on its development vision.

President Muizzu stated that the support of the people would help the government serve them efficiently.

The president also expressed commitment to achieve the goals highlighted by the island community, during his meeting with them earlier.
