Dr. Mariyam Jabeen
Dr. Mariyam Jabeen has been appointed to the position of state minister at the Gender Ministry.
She had previously been serving as Additional Minister at the Foreign Ministry.
Dr. Jabeen was appointed to this position on 1st August.
The current administration has been bringing considerable changes to the composition of its ministerial leadership. As such, Ahmed Shakir, the Senior Policy Executive at the Economic Ministry, was axed on the 20th of July.
Further, Ahmed Habeeb, who was State Minister at the Housing Ministry was let-go a day before this and Mujthaba Jaleel, a deputy minister at the Economic Ministry, had lost his position on 10th July.
