The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says that more than 8,500 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air raids since October 7.

The figure includes more than 3,500 children.

According to the latest information publicized by the UNICEF, at least 940 children have been reported missing in Gaza, adding infant dehydration is a growing threat with only five percent of normal water output. The UNICEF spokesperson James Elder told a UN press briefing in Geneva, that “Gaza has become a graveyard of children,”.

Furthermore, the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a grave warning that Gaza was on the brink of a “public health catastrophe” due to overcrowding, widespread displacement, and severe damage to water and sanitation facilities.

While the attacks from Israel keeps escalating, Gaza’s health ministry has risen concern that the Israeli military keeps deliberately targeting hospitals and medical centers in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry's spokesperson, Ashraf al-Qudra, has stated that violations against medical teams are ongoing, with 130 medical staff have lost their lives. He noted that the occupiers has so far attacked 57 medical institutions, and that 32 medical centres are out of service because of being targeted or lack of fuel.

Israel declared war on Palestine after Hamas launched a mass military operation into the territory of Israel on October 7 in response to Israeli violation of the Al Aqsa Mosque. Attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers have since spiked, with no intention of stopping.
