A.A. Rasdhoo Harbor Breakwater and Shore Protection Project
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilized the Harbor Breakwater and Shore Protection Project of Rasdhoo Island in Alifu Alifu Atoll.
MTCC mobilized the project on 09th August, 2023.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC will be reclaiming an area of 106,552 cubic meters and constructing a breakwater measuring 106 meters.
The scope of the project also includes the construction a 1,656 meter revetment, a 177 meter quay wall, and 224 meter groynes.
MTCC will also be establishing a 11 meter by 11 meter ramp and installing a 43 meter by 2 meter concrete bridge, as well as a 20 meter by 2 meter concrete bridge.
The project also includes installation of 795 square meter harbor pavement, harbor light as well as the construction of an access platform designed for the Integrated National Public Ferry Network.
The project is valued at MVR 80.4 million.
