President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih had inaugurated the completion of several development projects in three islands of Gaafu Dhaalu atoll.

The projects were inaugurated as part of President Solih’s tour of the atoll, on Tuesday.

President Solih inaugurated the new Fenaka offices and powerhouses of Nadella island, Rathafandhoo island and Fiyoaree island of the atoll.

The newly constructed Fenaka office and powerhouse in Nadellaa Island have been strategically located and equipped with modern facilities. The office can accommodate up to 30 employees, while the powerhouse has a generation capacity of 590 kilowatts.

The newly constructed Fenaka office in Rathafandhoo Island is equipped with modern amenities and can accommodate up to 30 staff members. This project, which replaces the island's previous powerhouse built 37 years ago, is part of the administration's commitment to addressing the challenges island residents face.

The new Fenaka office in Fiyoaree island is equipped with modern amenities and can accommodate up to 30 employees, representing a significant improvement over its previous location, which had a capacity of only four employees at a time.

Under the leadership of President Solih, the administration has made significant strides towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
