Bank of Maldives (BML) has successfully wrapped up a coding and engineering program held for girls.
The country’s national bank revealed that the program was carried out as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations to promote gender equality in the field of innovation and technology.
Targeted for girls between 12 – 14 years of age, the program was completed by a total of 24 participants.
ForLoop Coding Academy conducted the 16-day program.
BML’s coding and engineering program revolved around content including game development with Visual Blocks, developing apps using Python and building Bluetooth controlled robots.
