Minister Shahid called on the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić on Wednesday
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has called on the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
FM Shahid called on the Serbian president as part of his recent official visit to Serbia, on Wednesday.
The meeting saw FM Shahid conveying greetings and best wishes from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The Maldivian minister expressed the eagerness of the Maldivian government, to work closely with the government of Serbia on enhancing cooperation in the fields of tourism, trade and sports, following the signing of key agreements on Tuesday.
The meeting was also joined by Chief of Staff at the President’s Office Ali Zahir, Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed and Assistant Director Fathmath Lamya Imthiyaz.
FM Shahid concluded his brief official visit to Serbia on Wednesday.
The foreign minister’s visit carried the purpose of enhancing bilateral ties between the Republic of Maldives and the Republic of Serbia.
