President Solih appoints legal member to PCB

Privatization and Corporatization Board
A member has been appointed to the Privatization and Corporatization Board.
The appointment was made by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday.
As such, appointed the legal member at the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) of Maldives is Fathimath Shiruveen.
The appointment was made in accordance with the authority granted to the president by Section 4(c)(4) of the law on privatization, corporatization, monitoring and evaluation of government businesses.
Shiruveen is also an executive member of the NGO, Family Legal Clinic.
The new legal member of PCB most recently served as the State Counsel of the Attorney General’s Office.
Shiruveen obtained a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, England.
