The search for a missing minor continues.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that reported missing is a 15-year-old minor.

The child has been identified as Zeek Binth Mohamed Riyaz, native to Dhiyamigili island of Thaa atoll.

Zeek’s family is to have filed a missing persons report with the police institution at around 6:17pm on January 26, after she failed to return home after going out at 5pm on January 25.

Zeek had been residing in a house in Galolhu district of the congested capital, Malé City when she went missing.

Police cited the family detailing that the girl was last spotted wearing grey jeans, a black t-shirt with a heart-shaped design and a black hijab.

The police institution has urged the public to reach out to their Family and Child Protection Department through 9790163 or the police hotline number 3322111 if any information of the whereabouts of Zeek is received.
