Maldives High Commissioner presents credentials to King of Malaysia
The High Commissioner of Maldives to Malaysia, Ali Hussain Didi has presented his credentials to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI of Malaysia.
During a ceremony held at Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, High Commissioner Didi presented his Letter of Credence to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah.
The Maldivian HC was received in audience by His Majesty the King after credentials were presented.
The audience saw HC Didi expressing best wishes from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the people of Maldives to the King of Malaysia, for his good health and happiness as well as for peace, prosperity and happiness of the people of Malaysia.
Malaysia’s King congratulated the high commissioner on his appointment and assured full support and cooperation from the Malaysian government in discharging his responsibilities in his capacity as high commissioner of Maldives to Malaysia.
HC Didi expressed gratitude to the people and government of Malaysia for their support to the Maldives, as the friendly relations between both countries continue to enhance.
Aishath Juman, the high commissioner’s spouse, as well as Deputy High Commissioner Mariyam Mizna Shareef accompanied HC Didi during the ceremony.
