The shore protection project initiated in Kendhoo island of Baa atoll, has been completed.
The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) revealed that they completed the Kendhoo shore protection project on Wednesday.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC conducted dredging operations of 1,200 cubic meters of swimming area measuring 40 meters by 20 meters.
The company also constructed a breakwater measuring 803 meters, a revetment measuring 110 meters and a 90-meter groyne.
The Kendhoo shore protection project was valued that MVR 41.1 million.
