Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has disclosed that the quay wall block installation under Harbor Development Project of Dhaandhoo island of G.A Atoll is currently underway.

MTCC states that the harbor's concrete works are also currently ongoing at the project site.

Under the project MTCC will be doing harbor dredging operations of 52,099cbm and channel dredging operations of 4953cbm.

The scope of work also includes construction of a 30m groyne, a 333m breakwater, a 170m revetment, a 529m quay wall and installation of 1203sqm of harbor pavement.

The value of the project is MVR 70.8 million.
