BML supports awareness program by Cancer Society of Maldives

Bank of Maldives (BML) has supported a cancer awareness program initiated by the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM).
The country’s national bank supported the annual ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ initiative by the cancer society, on Saturday.
The ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ was held across 33 islands as well as in Hulhumalé.
During the program, BML also donated MVR 150,000 to CSM in support of initiatives to increase cancer awareness and provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families.
Further, BML will also be providing support for the cancer screening program initiated by the cancer society in Faafu atoll.
As part of the longstanding partnership CSM earlier in October conducted cancer screenings for the employees at the country’s national bank.
BML has been supporting CSM and the Pink Ribbon Run-walk since 2016.
