The public has been urged to support the data collection efforts for the Census 2022.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih urged the public to provide support towards gathering information for the Census 2022 on Tuesday, after meeting with the Census teams stationed in Dharubaaruge for the mobilization process that commenced on Tuesday.

As such, the president noted that the enumerators are performing an important and difficult task.

President Solih inquired from the teams about the census data collection process for 2022, and observed the resource mobilization operations that are currently underway.

The Maldives Bureau of Statistics (MBS) is carrying out Census 2022.

The listing operation will be carried out from September 13 – 14, with the main operation proceeding from September 17 – 25.
