Maldivians travelling to Kazakhstan, now exempt from visa requirements
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that the visa exemption agreement mirrors the commitment by both countries, to further strengthen the bilateral relations
 
This will allow Maldivians holding valid Diplomatic, Official and Ordinary passports to enter and stay in Kazakhstan a maximum period of 30 days from the day of entry
 
Maldivians travelling to Kazakhstan are exempted from visa starting from 14 September 2022

The exemption of visa requirements agreement between the governments of Maldives and Kazakhstan, has come into effect.

With this, Maldivians travelling to Kazakhstan are exempted from visa starting from 14 September 2022.

This will allow Maldivians holding valid Diplomatic, Official and Ordinary passports to enter and stay in Kazakhstan a maximum period of 30 days from the day of entry.

The governments of Maldives and Kazakhstan signed an Agreement on Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements on May 9, under which Maldivians intending to stay for a longer period or to work or to attend an educational institution or conduct business in Kazakhstan, will need to obtain an appropriate visa prior to travel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that the visa exemption agreement mirrors the commitment by both countries, to further strengthen the bilateral relations.

The visa exemption is also an important milestone that will facilitate stronger people to people contact, business and investment opportunities for both countries, revealed the foreign ministry.
