STO introduces Nippon Paint Matex to the Maldives' market

State Trading Organization (STO) has introduced the Nippon Paint Matex to the Maldives’ market.

STO’s CEO and Managing Director Hussain Amru Mohamed Rashad and Senior Manager of the Business Development and Exports department of Nippon Paint, Henry Ang launched the “Nippon Matex” range to the Maldives’ market on Thursday.

Alongside being affordable, Nippon Matex has qualities that makes the range unique in compared to the company’s other products, including the fact that the paint comes in seven-litre and 20-litre tubs.

Much like other products from Nippon, the Matex range requires to be mixed before immediate application. This makes it convenient to use the paint and doesn’t let the paint work drag out for too long a period.

The water-based paint features a matte finish and works well on cement and concrete surfaces, ceilings and plaster walls.

STO revealed that the Nippon Matex range is free of LED and mercury and introduced to the Maldives’ market are “shades of white”.

Since inception in 1955, Nippon Paint has been introducing the world to paint in a wide array of quality, colors and finishes, for different uses.
