The government of Maldives admires the government of Togo for its commitment to the principles espoused by the Commonwealth, says Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid.
The Maldivian minister said this in his message of felicitations sent to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Togo, Robert Dussey, on the occasion of Togo’s admittance to the Commonwealth.
The foreign minister extended warm greetings and sincere good wishes from the government and people of Maldives to his Togo counterpart as well as the government and people of Togo on unlocking the new milestone to be part of the Commonwealth Family as one of its newest members.
He went on to highlight that the Maldivian government admires the readiness of Togo to resonate with the ideals of the organization as well as its commitment to the principles espoused by the Commonwealth.
With this being said, FM Shahid expressed keen interest to collaborate closely with Togo on pushing for an all-inclusive and sustainable future for all.
FM Shahid went on to extend his best wishes for the good health and well-being of his Togo counterpart , and wished for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Togo.
In conclusion, the Maldivian minister extended the assurances of his highest consideration.
