A session has been held to provide information about foreign policy of Maldives, to students undergoing Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations at the Maldives National University (MNU).
The Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM) held the interactive training session on Sunday.
Sunday’s session was joined by a total of 21 students from MNU and revolved around further enhancing knowledge of students on foreign policy and foreign policy goals of Maldives.
The session was conducted as part of FOSIM’s school and university outreach program .
The school and university outreach programme in question, was designed to create awareness and generate interest among youth towards embracing the foreign service as a career.
Senior foreign service officers facilitated at the program, to share knowledge and experience on various subjects.
The session saw Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef interacting with the students, where he shared his insights and experience in the foreign service.
The session was conducted by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
