First Couple participates in launching of 'Majeedi Run'

The President and First Lady participate in launch of the "Majeedi Run"
The First Couple has participated in the launching of ‘Majeedi Run’.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed participated in the torch relay held to mark the start of the run on Friday.
The event was launched as part of the 95th anniversary celebrations of Majeediyya School as well as to begin the countdown to the school’s centennial anniversary.
The First Couple joined the torch relay in front of the official presidential residence, Mulee’aage.
The torch was passed to President Solih by the school’s captain.
After this, the president passed the torch on to the President of the steering committee of the event, Ibrahim Ismail.
The president and first lady were also presented with invitations to participate in the ‘Majeedi Run’ as well as designated event jerseys, by the management of the school.
