Audit Report has revealed that President's Office's expenses of 2020 was done in accordance with the Monetary Act and related regulations .
The Audit Report was published by the Auditor General's Office.
The Audit Report included fiscal reports of President's Office, Presidential residence and the residence of the Vice President. And it reveals that all the expenses of the three residence were done properly and in accordance with the Maldivian Monetary Act.
The Audit Report states that all the expenses of the President's Office was handled in a way that helped to achieve all the targets of the budget allocated for the office by the Parliament. As such, the report highlights that all the expenses were done within the given budget , and in accordance with the Monetary law and regulations.
The report also highlights that the expenses of the President's Office, out of its given budget were also done in accordance with the Monetary law and regulations of Maldives.
