Maldives Marketing and Public Relation Corporation (MMPRC) collaborated with Pickyourtrail to increase Maldivian destination momentum in the Indian market.
MMPRC stated the campaign with Pickyourtrail will go on for three months, from April to July.
MMPRC states that the purpose of the joint-campaign is to showcase the Maldives as the most preferred and safe holiday destination for Indian travelers across all segments including the affluent as well as other profiles. They said that the aim of the campaign is to create more interest towards the Maldives amongst the travel trade and travelers from the Indian market.
This campaign will create a commercially strong brand marketing campaign and stimulate a high level of inquiries and sales while increasing room nights and passenger numbers, states MMPRC.
MMPRC highlights that the campaign aligns with their market strategies for the Indian market. As such, the corporation's strategy targets to market the geographic advantage of having scattered islands which allows natural social distancing and market the individual products including resorts, hotels, guesthouses/homestay and liveaboards in the Indian market.
MMPRC states that the strategy is also based on informing the travel trade and travelers from India about the latest travel guidelines, safety measures in place in the facilities in Maldives, and unique experiences offered to holidaymakers in the Maldives.
Pickyourtrail is one of the most-loved leisure travel brands that is now growing rapidly in India. They have a unique DIY platform online, allowing new age travelers to create and customize their holiday.
