Discussions have been held on the post-Covid-19 status of tourism in Maldives and Seychelles.
This was done during a meeting held between the President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Former President of Seychelles, Danny Faure at the President’s Office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the pair held discussions on a wide array of topics of mutual interest, including the ongoing pandemic, the status of tourism in both countries post-pandemic as well as economic activity.
Histories of both the island nations were also a topic of discussion.
The ex-president of Seychelles went on to highlight the details of his foundation and future plans for work.
The meeting also saw Faure expressing gratitude for the warm hospitality accorded to him and spouse, Shermin Rudie Faure in their ongoing visit.
President Solih and the former president of Seychelles went on to exchange pleasantries and best wishes for future endeavors, before concluding the meeting.
