Staff of Bank of Maldives donate essential food supplies to support vulnerable families
Bank of Maldives staff have donated essential food supplies to support vulnerable families.
BML states that their staff donated essential food items for the ‘Help a Family’ initiative organized by MOMS to support vulnerable families during this Ramadan.
The bank says that the donation will provide food assistance to support the NGO’s goal of helping 100 vulnerable families across Maldives.
Moreover, the staff extended their spirit of giving to positively impact the community through this initiative, says BML.
MOMS NGO expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Bank of Maldives for their extraordinary and generous aid. They also applauded the staff's commitment to improve the lives and livelihood of the society.
BML donated MVR 100,000 to the ARC AID program in 2021 to assist vulnerable families during Ramadan.
In 2020, the Bank donated MVR 200,000 to assist vulnerable children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The funds were utilized to support over 500 children in 300 vulnerable families in 14 islands.
