Ooredoo Maldives announced that its customers can now make recharges and buy Add-ons via Ooredoo Quickpay on the world’s leading social media platform, Facebook.
Ooredoo Maldives partnered with Meta to provide this service, to enable easy access to its services through commonly used platforms such as Facebook Mobile Center, other than its official digital channels.
Highlighting that Facebook is a widely used platform in the Maldives, Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz, stated that this partnership with Meta will help enhance the customers digital experience.
Niyaz said that with this partnership Ooredoo's Facebook Prepaid users can now recharge via Facebook and continue to enjoy the platform.
Niyaz also expressed delight in working with Facebook to introduce innovative solutions and expand access to Ooredoo's services and enhance the customers digital experience.
Ooredoo Maldives has previously partnered with Facebook and introduced Text-Only Facebook. This is a version of Facebook that allows customers to connect to Facebook for free. With this, Ooredoo mobile users with any data subscription, will be able to access a basic version of Facebook and Facebook Messenger with zero balance and no data charge with just a tap of a button.
