The New Ambassador of Maldives to Nepal Presents Credentials to the President of Nepal
Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, the new Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Nepal has presented his credentials to the President of Nepal.
The new Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Nepal presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari at a special ceremony at the Office of the President of Nepal - Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday.
Congratulating the new ambassador on the commencement of his term and his appointment, the Nepalese President expressed confidence that the close ties between Maldives and Nepal will be further solidified during the ambassador’s tenure.
Conveying greetings and good wishes from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the people of Maldives to the government and friendly people of Nepal, Dr. Niyaaz expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the continued assistance extended by the government of Nepal in the socio-economic development of Maldives.
As such, he noted that Nepal has extended assistance in the socio-economic development of Maldives, especially in the health sector of the island nation.
Dr. Niyaaz went on to assure his commitment to work closely with the government of Nepal to further strengthen the close relations between the two countries in areas of mutual interest as the newly accredited ambassador, during his tenure.
Following the ceremony, the new Ambassador of Maldives to Nepal also called on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Secretary and other key ministers of Nepal, at separate events.
