Minister of Defence and National Security, Mariya Ahmed Didi has met with the Regional Manager and Liaison Officer at the Department of Transport of the United Kingdom.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Defence and National Security on Thursday afternoon.
The meeting, joined by Director-General of Directorate of Aviation Security Administration Hussain Nazeef and Principal Director of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF)’s Department of International Defence Cooperation LTC Ahmed Shareef, saw Minister Mariya extending gratitude to the government of UK for providing expertise in the Aviation Security assessments carried out at Velana International Airport.
Minister Mariya went on to thank the government of UK for extending a helping hand to ensure Maldives complies with the highest Aviation Security standards.
