Pres. to embark on six-island tour of Lhaviyani atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is to embark on a six-island tour of Lhaviyani atoll this week.
Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Mabrook Azeez revealed that the president will be travelling from February 18 – 20.
The islands the president will be covering throughout the tour are Madivaru, Naifaru, Olhuvelifushi, Kurendhoo as well as the president’s home island Hinnavaru and Felivaru, where he will be visiting the fish factory.
The president conducted a tour of Lhaviyani atoll on a previous occasion as well.
The aim of these frequent trips across the Maldives is to strengthen communication and interactions with the communities.
