Saudi Arabia remains one of the top contributors for the development of Maldives

Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Mayor of Maldives capital, Malé City has paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Matrik bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin.

During the meeting held at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Maldives, the pair engaged in discussions regarding the possible assistance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia could extend to the development of the Maldives capital.

Discussions also revolved around topics of common interests.

Further, the pair shed light on the ongoing and planned development projects, as well as the assistance the embassy could provide for the progress of these projects.

The Saudi Kingdom is an exemplary development partner of Maldives. Some of the grants provided for projects undertaken in the Maldives include for the King Salman Mosque, airport development as well as other notable contributions.
