Gov't to submit 32 bills to Majlis during year's last session
The third session of the People's Majlis began on August 16

Includes bills in regards to the law, religion, community, environment and economy

The government will be presenting a total of 32 bills to the People's Majlis during its third session.

The Attorney General's Office has sent a list of the bills to be submitted to parliament during its last session of the year, which includes bills in regards to the law, religion, community, environment and economy.

The list was forwarded to Majlis on Monday, as per section 82 (d) of the parliamentary laws and regulations.

Article 82 (d) states that before the beginning of each session, the government is required to send in the list of bills to be presented by the parliament to the Speaker which is to be forwarded to all Parliament members. However, other important items can be added to the agenda, following discussions between the parliament's majority and minority leaders.

The third session of the People's Majlis began on August 16 while the second session concluded on July 8. The Parliament had passed a total of 21 bills during the second term.
