A Channel 13 journalist has been removed from the police’s media group, with accusations of sexual harassment.
Police’s spokesperson, Izmia Zahir announced this via Twitter on Tuesday.
Noting that Channel 13’s Samah Mohamed has been removed from the police’s media Whatsapp group, the spokesperson stressed that the institution had attempted to meet with the station’s senior officials prior to removing him.

She added that removing Samah from the group will not affect Channel 13 as another journalist from the media house “is currently in the group.”
Furthermore, Izmia said that all media personnel can contact police media for any information “even if not in the group.”
