Abandoned Houses in Kulhudhffushi

MVR 32,000 is taken from the island council's budget every month from the government but the houses continue to stay abandoned without its maintenance and letting any family live.

Because of poor maintenance the newly constructed buildings are being damaged beyond recognition.

There were 18 row houses that were won by families in Kulhudhuffushi but the house keys still remain with the government.

Every house is equipped with 3 rooms, 1 sitting room, 1 kitchen and 4 toilets

The construction of the row houses in Kulhudhufushi began in 2010 and now completed however the houses still remain empty.
