Fuel Supply Maldives, a company that streamlines fuel distribution in the country has amended operation hours for its petrol and fuel sheds stationed across the greater Malé region.
The changes are in accordance with the new vehicle movement regulations issued by the Health Protection Agency (HPA). HPA shortened the curfew hours from 11pm to 4am recently, allowing movement on the roads by 11pm.
As such, the Easyfill shed near Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), the Easyfill 1 shed near State Electric Company (STELC), Easyfill 3 in Hulhumalé, Easyfill 4 and Easyfill 2 near the carnival region will operate from 8am to 10:30pm.
Further, the Thilafushi FSM shed will be open for services from 8:30am to 9pm. The shed will be closed from 12pm to 12:30pm and 4:30pm to 5pm.
According to FSM, petrol sheds will be closed for disinfection purposes for half an hour from 3pm to 3:30pm.
Earlier, the FSM 2 and FSM 4 sheds had recently introduced cashless services, however, both sheds recently began accepting cash.
The fuel distributer’s aim for the ongoing year was to establish one of the petrol sheds in the capital city as a self-service shed.
