The Ministry of Health is seeking parties to arrange accommodation for the Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) front line workers in the country’s Covid-19 response efforts.

In a publication in the government gazette, the authority announced that interested individuals are required to send the registration forms attached to the gazette publication, by 2pm, September 7, viae-mail.

The government will begin accepting registration forms on August 30.

Interested parties are required to send inquiries regarding the announcement before 12pm, September 13, viae-mail.

Hotel and guesthouse owners that are interested in providing accommodation for front line workers are to provide basic amenities such as water bottles as well as food and toiletries.

The ministry had arranged accommodation for front line workers on previous occasions as well.

The announcement comes at a time the country has seen an alarming spike in Covid-19 cases being reported since the government entered the third phase of lockdown easing during July.
