Authorities have seized the passport of former Tourism Minister Ali Waheed.
A credible source told RaajjeMV that a police’s team arrived at Waheed’s home on Sunday, and proceeded to seize his passport under a court order.
They arrived at Waheed’s residences at around 3:30pm.
Waheed was dismissed as tourism minister last Thursday, after failing to follow through with the president’s order to resign.
This was following sexual abuse allegations from a number of female employees at the tourism ministry.
The former minister denies the allegations.
