Three Covid-19 patients currently being treated at the ICU: HEOC

The Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) has revealed that three Covid-19 patients are currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Speaking to press at the nightly conference on Thursday, Dr. Moosa Murad from Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), revealed that they are currently operating two centers for the intensive treatment of Covid-19 patients.
One is the Hulhumalé Medical Facility and the second is located in the 11th floor of the Dharumavantha Hospital, commonly known as DH11.
ICU services have been made available at both facilities, said the doctor.
One of the patients is being treated at DH11 and two patients are receiving intensive care services at the Hulhumalé facility.
The patient admitted at DH11 is serious, however, is currently in stable condition, said Dr. Murad.
Highlighting that no additional issues have been reported, the doctor revealed that the patients in the general ward are also gradually recovering.
As such, 14 patients are currently receiving treatment for Covid-19 at Hulhumalé facility’s general ward.
