An investigation has been launched into a sexual harassment allegation against a police officer at the Hulhumalé Isolation Facility.
Police said that the case was filed on May 26.
An officer is to have harassed a female employee from a different department on May 24.
Noting that its professional standards command is investigating the case, police said that a criminal investigation is ongoing as well.
No further details were revealed.
