Covid-19 situation in Maldives
Maldives confirms six additional Covid-19 cases
 
This also includes a Pakistani national
 
Five Maldivians are included among the new cases
 
This brings the total case count to 256

An additional six cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Maldives on Wednesday.

Among the six are five Maldivians and one Pakistani national, a 24-year-old woman.

Further, it has been reported that a 13-year-old boy is also included among those who tested positive to the virus on Wednesday.

With this development, the total case count in the country has risen to 256, with 100 Maldivians testing positive thus far.

Ever since the first case of community transmission was detected on April 15, 236 cases have emerged from Maldives capital Malé City as well as outlying atolls.
