Six additional cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, have emerged in the Maldives.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) made the reveal via Twitter on Friday afternoon.
As such, among the six cases are two Maldivians, two Bangladeshis, one Indian and one Sri Lankan national.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 116.
Maldives crossed over 100 cases on Thursday and the number has been spiraling since the first case of the community spread was discovered on April 15.
