It has been over 24 hours since the last positive results of the Covid-19 pandemic were announced by the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
Despite there being no positive cases within the past 24 hours, the latest updates provided by the authority revealed that test results are pending for 383 samples.
246 out of these were taken from Kuredu Island Resort, and the remaining 137 samples are linked to positive cases.
Samples are being collected from all individuals identified through the contact tracing process and arrangements have been established to collect samples in all outlying atolls.
However, the samples will be brought for testing at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
The latest cases were revealed early Wednesday, where two cases, Patients 85 and 86 were reported.
The number of confirmed cases form the city up until Thursday morning is 65.
