President meets Miladhoo Island Councillors
 
Councillors presented the priorities and concerns raised by the island’s residents

President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih meets with the members of Miladhoo Island Council of South Miladhunmadulu Atoll on Thursday afternoon at The President’s Office.

During the meeting, the Councillors presented the priorities and concerns raised by the island’s residents, as well as various development projects proposed for the benefit of their constituents.

Moreover, in the meeting held at the President's office, Councillors shed light on the most pertinent and urgent needs of their residents, including the expansion of the Miladhoo harbour, urgent need of a council office, soil erosion and a high grade football stadium, stated the President's office.

President Solih clarified the progress of projects the Councillors notified and stated that the government would take the necessary action after discussing with relevant line ministries to address the specific issues and concerns raised.
