Domestic airline Flyme has decided to suspend flights to Addu and Fuvahmulah cities.
In a press release, the airline’s operating company Villa Air stated that it will suspend the flights from June 10 due to staff shortage.
Flyme’s flights from capital city Male’ to Addu and Fuvahmulah was resumed last November.
Villa Air stated that many passengers have made complaints over the staff shortage and that the company has planned various strategies to fulfill customer expectations.
The company stated that the flights will resume once they train new pilots in the coming months and that an ATR 72-600 aircraft will be added to Flyme’s fleet in October.
