Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage has postponed World Art Day celebrations, due to turbulent weather.
The ministry, via twitter, revealed the decision to postpone the event, initially set to take place at Rasrani Park on Saturday, due to the turbulent weather prevailing over the Maldives.
It added that a new date will be announced later.
While the World Art Day is celebrated on 15 April every year, the activity-filled evening will be featuring young artists and their talents. Many recreational activities were planned for the evening as well, the Ministry earlier revealed.
On 15 April, the ministry also opened the opportunity for interested bakers and caterers to set up food stalls featuring Maldivian cuisine throughout the evening.
