Transport Minister Aishath Nahula has said that Faris Maumoon, who is vying for the North Mahchangolhi seat, would be a valuable asset to his constituents.
Speaking at Friday night’s campaign event, Minister Nahula said that Faris is the most capable of all the other candidates in the North Mahchangolhi constituency and that she approves of his work in parliament.
At the event, Minister Nahula said that, just as she has described her husband Qasim Ibrahim as being an expensive jewel to his constituents, she believes that Faris is a valuable asset to his constituents.
She said that Faris had always remained steadfast despite the injustices he faced in the previous administration and urged voters to elect Faris for the North Mahchangolhi seat in order to maintain the government coalition.
Others who joined Faris' campaign event include Vice President Faisal Naseem and many cabinet ministers.
