New Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen has on Wednesday visited local hospitals, IGMH and ADK to check on the conditions of patients admitted there.
Minister Ameen had met with the admitted patients in both hospitals and extended his well wishes and encouragement to them and their families.
Besides meeting and greeting patients, Minister Ameen had also checked on the operations and procedures at both hospitals and encouraged hospital employees to bring out their best.
While this is the first time Minister Ameen has visited local hospitals since taking oath of office on the 17th of November. Since assuming office, Minister Ameen had met with many officials in the health sector, at the Ministry of Health and even telephoned some senior officials at hospitals and health centers in outlying atolls to check on their operations.
