Housing Ministry publicizes final list of flat recipients
The list has been published in the government gazette
The program is aimed at provided housing for 80,000 people
The Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has publicized its final list of recipients of flats under the state's 'Hiyaa' shelter program.
Minister Mohamed Muizzu said on Sunday night, through a post on his Twitter account, that the list has been published in the government gazette.
Minister Muizzu also said that that recipients of flats in southern Addu and Fuvahmulah cities, Thinadhoo and Gadhdhoo islands in Gaafu Dhaal Atoll, Villingili in Gaafu Alif atoll, and Dhidhdhoo in Haa Alif atoll, have also been announced.
The ministry earlier said that recipients of flats provided under the 'Hiyaa' program, totalling 7,000 housing units for 12 different categories, will be have them provided for use by early 2019.
The government said that the program is aimed at provided housing for 80,000 people.
