Establishing stability in the Maldives is a ‘week’s work’ if relevant authorities work diligently, vice-presidential candidate Faisal Naseem has said.
Speaking at a campaign event on Thursday, Faisal said that the Maldives is currently ‘plagued’ with corruption, brutality, and tyranny and that it can be dealt with swiftly if authorities work together.
Faisal said that violent crimes have been high compared to past years and that it remains to be addressed adequately.
The Joint Opposition candidate further said that the Maldives Police Service and the Prosecutor General’s Office are quick address political cases while other issues remain unresolved.
