Faisal Naseem, running mate of Joint Opposition coalition’s Presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has begun a campaign tour across Shaviyani atoll on Sunday.

Naseem and team are to visit a total of 11 islands during this campaign tour. As such, Naseem and team will be visiting Kanditheemu, Goidhoo, Noomara, Billeffahi and Niladhoo, where a mass gathering is scheduled to be held.

On Monday, Naseem and team are scheduled to visit Narudhoo, Feevah, Foakaidhoo, Maaungoodhoo, Funadhoo as well as Komandoo.

Naseem will be meeting and greeting with supporters in each of the islands as well as going door-to-door campaigning to some households to check on the living conditions of residents.

While Presidential campaign activities from both contesting candidates are blowing full steam ahead, so far, Solih and Naseem, as well as President Abdulla Yameen vying for re-election, along with his running mate Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed are travelling to various islands in outlying atolls to garner support.
