Criminal Court judge, Ahmed Rasheed’s suspension has been lifted.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) decided to lift the judge’s suspension following an investigation into a disciplinary issue. which they were unable to prove.

RaajjeMV understands that Rasheed will begin taking up cases at the Criminal Court from Sunday onward.

While Rasheed had been since August last year, JSC had not disclosed a reason for his suspension at the time.

He was appointed to the Criminal Court bench in mid-February 2015.
