14-year-old stabbed in capital city at nightfall on Wednesday
 
Media official at IGM Hospital revealed that the boy had not sustained serious injuries

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in capital city Male’ on Wednesday night.

RaajjeMV understands that the boy was stabbed after nightfall on Wednesday at around 06:30 p.m.

While the boy had two stab wounds on his head and one on his leg, he was first rushed to Senahiya for treatment. However, he had later be transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for further treatment.

Media official at IGM Hospital told RaajjeMV that an injured teenager had been brought in at around 09:00 p.m. and that he had not sustained any serious injuries. The official went on to reveal that the boy will be discharged some time on Wednesday night.

RaajjeMV was unable to attain a comment from MPS at the time of publishing.

While the attack on a minor has been reported on Wednesday, three consecutive stabbings had taken place in Hulhumale this week.
