Fairooz is 'back home' at RaajjeTV

Ahmed Fairooz has returned to RaajjeTV, over a year after leaving the station.
The well-known journalist and presenter signed his employment agreement on live TV on Thursday morning, with chief operating officer Hussain Fiyaz Moosa signing on the station's behalf.
Fiyaz said that Fairooz is an 'accomplished and experienced' journalists and that he meets all the necessary requirements.
Speaking on air afterwards, Fairooz noted that RaajjeTV is a place where he had always been able to work 'freely' and with the most ease.
Fairooz, who began his career at VTV in 2008, left RaajjeTV in May 2017.
While he had worked in other competing networks after quitting, Fairooz describes his return to RaajjeTV as 'coming back home'.
